Airtel, ADSL and wireless routers...
My mom has a touchtel (or is it Airtel?) broadband connection at home. AFAIK, its through ADSL - and the modem is a USB model. So heres my question to anyone here who's aware of these things...
a. Does touchtel install LAN modems? (by that I mean a modem that connects to my comp through an RJ-45 connector, and not the USB port).
b. Has anyone set up a WLAN with a touchtel connection? If you did, which router did y'all use?
As you can probably ascertain, I want to set up a wireless network at home - but I have no clue about the modem, or the connection not being at home. And no, theres no point in asking ppl there to check the modem and tell me about the modem specs - won't work. Answers will be toasted in absentia with a good chug... :)
PS: Bought a PowerBook for my brother...ah what a machine! wish I could afford one myself... and an awesome deal too - 500 bucks off the Apple store!
