American Idol Top 36 - Week 3
Well, here's my take on the 12 this week as I watched each of them:
Von Smith - Not bad but verged on shouting some
Taylor Vaifanua - Started slow but got better later but nothing special
Alex Wagner-Trugman - GEEK! Some good spots, some really rough ones. He was trying too hard.
Arianna Afsar - Very awkward early on. Nice finish but not good enough.
Ju'Not Joyner - OK, but a little boring.
Kristen McNamara - Not bad.
Nathaniel Marshall - OMG! Way Gay! Voice was ok but nothing special. (Did he have something in his cheeks?)
Felicia Barton - She sang pretty good. (Her hubby's handsome too.)
Scott MacIntyre - Not bad but again, nothing overly special.
Kendall Beard - Very nice performance.
Jorge Nuñez - Not bad but the accent makes it a bit rough for me. (I'm not sure who the guy from his family is but he was hot.)
Lil Rounds - Great job. Loved it. She looked great too.
Top Guy - Von Smith
Top Girl - Lil Rounds
3rd Person - Felicia Barton
Possibility for Wildcard - Kendall Beard
This week, the girls definitely did better. Scott was ok but I don't think he was good enough tho I can see him getting in on the sympathy vote or something. I was waiting for Nathaniel to spontaneously combust from flaming so much during his performance. OMG! You could even see him doing it up in the waiting area when others were performing.
It should be interesting to see who gets through tomorrow and then who the judges pick on Thursday for the 3 wildcards. The Top 12 are almost here.
