Exception - 833words ;; Dongwoo/Hoya ;; PG-13
What Dongwoo hated, humans, was what Dongwoo loved, but not for long.
A/N: random plot bunny, fail kissing scenes and slight hint of dirty stuffs. supernatural. somewhat based off twilight.

There's always something about Hoya that draws Dongwoo closer to him. Be it the way he smiles, or the way he moves his body to the rhythm of the beats. Dongwoo doesn't know why, he destests the humans species, yet he fell head over heels over one.

Dongwoo had always thought that humans are pathetic creatures full of irony. They have the need to breathe to survive, but yet pollute the air till its hard to breathe. They talk about having world peace, when they can't stop argueing with their neighbours. It's not like humans can see through the eyes of a non-human, to see how much destruction they'd caused to their home planet. But still, Dongwoo doesn't know why he had to struggle to survive with these humans. He was human once, but not now, and he had lost the touch of being one. Dongwoo doesn't need to depend on them for survival, he can always hunt for wild deers in the forest for blood, and wild deer blood do taste nicer than human blood.

Dongwoo thinks that humans are crazy. Vampires aren't immortal, they do age and die, and their lifespan is as long as humans. Dongwoo faintly remembers what he wanted to be as child, an idol star, even after being wiped off most of his memories that happened before the incident. Dongwoo worked hard to be where he is now, with six other boys that call themselves INFINITE.

Surprisingly, the six boys didn't irked Dongwoo. He actually liked them, especially one. And Dongwoo thinks Myungsoo may be one of him (he doesn't have his own distinct blood scent except Sungyeol's), and Sungyeol's his mate. (Because both of them have each other on their minds all the time.) But Dongwoo isn't one who meddles into people's lives, and doesn't ask. Sunggyu, Woohyun and Sungjong, were perfectly normal humans, who seemed to care and play their part for saving the earth. Hoya on the other hand, simply drives Dongwoo crazy.

Dongwoo remembers the first time he met Hoya. It took Dongwoo lots of self control not to launch himself at Hoya just because his scent was so alluring. His scent is a mixture of sweet mangoes and there is a hint of peppermint and its really different from everybody's. (He loves mangoes, and who says vampires don't eat normal food, bullshit.) Dongwoo thinks its really weird, people's scent are of only a thing. (Like how Sungyeol is sweet watermelons, Sungjong's ramen and Woohyun's cheese.) Hoya's the first he had came across.

Dongwoo had this special ability to read minds. At first, it could be only done if they are in contact, skin to skin. His ability inproved as he trained on, and at that time he first met the six boys, he could only read their minds if they were having eye contact. Hoya only met eye to eye with Dongwoo for a moment when they were introducing themselves, it wasn't long enough for Dongwoo to had a chance to intrude. Dongwoo only realised after a few days, where they were having a small talk about themselves before bed time, that he couldn't read Hoya's mind. Dongwoo thought that Hoya probably had nothing on his mind, but as Dongwoo's skills improved as time passes, it was then Dongwoo realised Hoya is different.

It was during that certain practice session that Hoya taught them the 'scorpion dance'. After a gruelling three hour intense session, the five boys, covered with perspiration, breathe heavy, fought their way out of the small door of the practise room to head home, leaving Dongwoo alone with Hoya. Dongwoo had stayed behind to perfect it, and Hoya volunteered to help out.

Dongwoo didn't miss out the looks Hoya gave him. His eyes were tinted with lust as his skin made contact with Dongwoo's. It was when Dongwoo felt uneasy that he decided to head back to the dorm, but Hoya had stopped him. Hoya grabbed Dongwoo by the shoulders and slammed him into the mirror. Hoya winced a little at the loud sound, but it never hurt Dongwoo. Dongwoo could easily push Hoya away but the other boy was tempting him so much, he decided to play weak and let Hoya do the controlling. Surprisingly, the contact between their lips wasn't rough as Dongwoo thought. Hoya was gentle, taking things slow before his arms slided down to hug Dongwoo, and whisper in his ears.

"You don't know how good you looked."

It was another practice session, this time with Sungyeol and Myungsoo away for their drama filming, Woohyun and Sunggyu on a radio, and Sungjong had to fall prey to the flu bug. This time, Dongwoo didn't hold back. He pinned Hoya to the wall, lips sucking on the sweaty collarbones, before his fangs protruded out.

"Do you believe in vampires?"

"You're one, why not?" was all Hoya replied before Dongwoo's fangs pierced through Hoya's tender flesh, venom diffusing into the bloodstream as Dongwoo took a big suck. Dongwoo pulled back, licking the wound so it would close, as he gave Hoya one more kiss, Hoya tasting his own blood in his mouth, before he blacked out.

Hoya blinked, once, twice, thrice. He was in the practice room, he sees a somewhat jelly like substance blocking out his sight. It took him a second to realised it was his contacts, before taking it out to see Dongwoo chuckling next to him. It took him another few seconds to realise what was going on. Hoya was slow for a newborn, but that doesn't matter.
