Never Be The Same

After a month, finally photos from my sister's wedding are finished. Along with the video. Mom, dad, and I spent two hours watching the video.

Since my sister lives with her parents in law, she hasn't seen the photos yet.

These are several photos from the album. I resized them because the original size is hell big.

This one was taken a day before the wedding (Dec, 19th). Our family held a praying ceremony at night. People said that I'm the duplicate of my dad. They said that I'm the female version of him ^___^;;

According to our tradition, my sister had to give me presents as a redress. The presents had to be top to toe items such as clothes, shoes, and bags. She also asked for my approval because she will get married earlier than me.

I couldn't stop my tears for overflowing as she said, "Sis, please forgive me for getting married earlier. Please give me your bless so that I can live happily ever after with the man whom I chose and with the children who will be born from our love. I will also pray that you can get married soon." Aw, that was so touching!

After the ceremony, we took picture as a memento. Our lives will never be the same anymore from the moment on.

December 20th, 2008

It was kinda mess because the groom and his family came too early. But fortunately, we could finish the make-up right on time.

Both mine and the groom's families gathered in my house. Only my parents, the groom's, the witnesses, and officers from KUA were allowed to go inside the room. The rest are waiting at the terrace.

After committing the vow, the couple signed the wedding documents. And, my sister is now officially someone's wife.

From left to right are Mr and Mrs Agus Suyanto (the groom's parents), the groom Ipul (but mom, dad, and I usually call him "Jamil" due to his name's resemblance with one of the famous dangdut singer in my country), the bride Dayla (isn't my sister cute? XD), my mom, and dad.

FYI, the gown my sister wore was designed by ME!

Right after the vow, we got ready for the party which was held in front of my house. We dressed all green. My mom chosed the color.

The one in wheelchair is my grandma. She's my mom's mom. My grandma is already 86 but she still loves doing culinary travelling. So, we usually go on weekend to quest for new recipes.

Without grandma. Just The Ngoesman's (plus the groom). All dresses (except the men's) were designed by me.

Posing with sister in law (dressed in pink).

Now I can't avoid from people asking me, "Your sis is already married. When will you follow her?"

Oh yeah, keep asking until your mouth gets frothy. I'll get married if I WANT to. But it's certainly not now.
