What if you think you're already dead but you suddenly open your eyes in another place and you're still alive?
Well, ask it to Katou Masaru. He was trying to help an old man who was injured in a train station on his way home. The next time he opens his eyes, he's in a mysterious room with half of his brain (and obviously, head) gone. And he must battle unknown entities to survive along with other people.

Gantz:O, a full 3D CD anime film based on Oku Hiroya's Gantz manga. Digital Frontier which previously handled VFX in Gantz series is in charge of the production.
Satou Keiichi (Tiger & Bunny) is appointed as the chief director and Kawamura Yasushi known for his work Appleseed is directing the film. The screenplay written by Kuroiwa Tatsuya (One Piece Film Gold, Strawberry Night, Liar Game). Ike Yoshihiro (DAYS, Kuroko no Basket Season 2 & 3) is working on the music.
Ono Daisuke is playing the main character Katou Masaru and Kaji Yuuki as Kurono Kei. Hayami Saori as Reika, M.A.O as Yamasaki Anzu, Kaku Tomohiro as Nishi Jouichirou, and Ikeda Shuichi as Suzuki Yoshikazu.
Gantz:O is scheduled to premiere at the 73rd Venice Film Festival this month. It will open in Japan on October 14.
Two months away for domestic screen. Let's hope that it will also be screened abroad. Hopefully some companies will acquire the license to re-distribute it outside Japan.
