These past two days, I'm checking
D-Addicts like crazy. I'm waiting for
Koishite Akuma's new episode. But no one upload it yet T___T
I've watched the loq quality raw from
viikii but I want to watch in HQ >___<
Last week, the 7th episode was uploaded several hours after it's aired. I don't know what happens to the uploader. Well, I guess I have no choice but to wait.
The story is addictive. Trust me.
I downloaded this series couple of weeks ago. Because I was busy with my job and I prioritize Buzzer Beat and Ninkyo Helper, I just burned it into DVD and put it in my CD case. After watching it last week, I'm sooo in love with Yuma, the main cast the story. It's soooo adorable. A young vampire who hasn't fully turned into vampire because he has no fang and he never drink human's blood. One day, while seeking for his destined woman, this young vampire named Kuromiya Ruka stumbled upon a beautiful woman, Natsukawa Makoto, his teacher.
Being ignorant and supercool at first, day by day Ruka starts to get along with humans who once he despises. It's all thanks to Makoto. Gradually, Ruka changes and knowing the fact that he was... human. His pride as vampire falls apart and he can't help but being angry to his chaperone, Kaito, for keeping this secret from him.
The story gets complicated after the truth is revealed: Ruka's real identity is Ayumu, Makoto's boyfriend 10 years ago. Ayumu was announced dead after his body was wiped out by the tide and never be found. But, Ayumu didn't actually die. Indeed, he died as human, but he revived as an immortal being.
After gaining his memory, Ruka is in dilemma. He wants to be with his beloved girlfriend but he can't fight his nature as human bloodsucking creature. No matter how hard Ruka restrains it, his desire of blood is irresistible. If he stays on Makoto's side, he'll put both his and Makoto's life in danger. Because Ruka needs to drink the blood of his destined woman in order to be a full-fledged vampire and stay alive. If he doesn't drink Makoto's blood before the upcoming fullmoon, Ruka will die.
To make the story more confusing, a vampire named Kobayakawa arrived in town, disguising as English teacher in Ruka's school. It seems like he's connected to Ruka because he interrogates the students about Ruka. I assume he's the vampire who bit Ruka 10 years ago.
(left to right): Kondo Masahiko who plays Kaito, Katou Rosa as Makoto, Nakayama Yuma (can you believe he's only 15?) as the vampire boy Ruka, and Morimoto Shintaro as Shouta.
Mr/Mrs scenario writer, how can you be so cruel to Yuma Ruka? You give him no profitable option. Of course, I don't want Ruka to die. I want him to live happily ever after life with Makoto. But, it's Japanese series we're talking about so I can't expect a happy ending. I'm still traumatized by Zettai Kareshi and Atashinchi no Danshi's ending.
When I read episode 9's preview in
Koishite Akuma's official site, it seems like the story will have a major progress. The fullmoon is about to come and Ruka's desire on blood makes him losing control over his own mind. He even attacks his "cousin" Shouta.
This is the synopsis of episode 9 from the official site:
Makoto is surprised when she found out that Ruka is a vampire. Eventually, she accepts the truth, she faces Ruka without fear that he is living human bloodsucking vampire.
On the other hand, Ruka’s body is falling apart. Along with his vision, his consciousness is fading away. Meanwhile, his memory is also disappearing. Kaito tells Ruka who starts losing himself that his time limit is getting closer. Ruka’s body is giving signal to its end, he starts longing for blood. Kaito urges Ruka to drink Makoto’s blood as soon as possible. When she knows that Ruka doesn’t seem to be able to escape the fate of a vampire, Makoto makes a decision.
Tuesday, please come fast~
I really can't wait for the last three episodes. I can't even get the ending theme, Akuma no Koi sung by Nakayama Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow, out of my head. Not the best soundtrack I've ever heard but the melody is earcatchy.
Vampirish thing is one of Hyde's favorite subject. I wonder if he also watches this series. Oh, I know he's busy touring but he has time to watch EVA, so why not Koishite Akuma? If only he plays the vampire boy, it'll be great. I'd love to watch it over and over XDD
The vampire boy's description matches Hyde's. Beautiful, supercool, mysterious, and emits a certain aura which makes people easily attracted.
Thx to
karmoisin for the TV Guide scans.
