RIP Takanaga Hinako Community

Lately I've been receiving nothing but bad news. This time it comes from BL fandom.

Earlier today, I logged in to LJ just to find out that takanaga-hinako is now offline. The community no longer opens for new member. I'm not even sure if anyone can still post to the community because the owner posted this.

Well, he/she claims to not hate homosexuals but the post stated otherwise. He/she said to have received a ray of light to leave the BL fandom. According to him/her, nobody should fall in love with their rapist like Tatsumi Souichi who ended up being all lovey-dovey with Morinaga Tetsuhiro who raped him in the name of love.

The post also contains a long lecture about how humanity should live. Men and women HAVE to be together for the world to go on. Okay, it's true. But isn't that too sexist? As if he/she's saying that women are only objects to help giving birth to new generation to run the earth.

Oh, and don't forget about the his/her speech about love.

Please.

You won't die just because you don't love anybody.

After years, I have finally compromised with the word love. I no longer believe in love. Would that make me a pathetic person? No. I don't think I am.

In my point of view, love is just an illusion. What people call love is just a mutual feelings of needs between humans.

When I was in junior high school (or high school, don't remember), my teacher said, "When you lose your family member, like your dad dies, do you know why your mother cries?"

Since I was too naive at the time, I thought, "Of course because she lost dad whom she loves so much."

My teacher replied, "Yes, that's probably the case. But more than that, she cries because she has to continue living without someone to support the family financial. Because she has to take care of her children alone. More importantly, she no longer has anyone to rely on."

Oh...

It might sound bitter. But there's truth in it.

Since then I think over about the word LOVE. The word that could make people go crazy and go extra miles.

Enough with the nonsense. Have a nice weekend, everyone.
