just a few movies ;)
first, saw district 9 today.
SO AMAZING. i was sitting the entire time with my hands clenched together... i love how well they do the style to totally draw you in, so you almost forget you're watching fiction (and who knows, someday something similar may actually happen...)
saw atonement the other day. also amazing - the costumes & cinematography were just gorgeous, and i loved how they incorporated the sound fx/music so it was really part of the film, not just added background
...and then i just looked at the tiff website - i'll get to see matsumoto's symbol XD that will be funtimez! and men who stare at goats (which colin hates me for lol, cause we just saw the trailer the other day-told him he should come watch it ^^), also jennifer's body, which sounded fun from colin geddes' description on the tiff site
...missing out on kamui though - unless i skip the beginning of scenic painting one day :S CONUNDRUM!
