Por fin he salido de debajo de una roca

So, we all know I really really REALLY fail at posting. And that pretty much sums it up.
Lets blame exams for this one

And I just forgot everything I was going to write since. . . my last post.

*thinks*

Oh yeah, I never mentioned the news about TOS: Dawn of the new world, did I?
So, I'll start the ranting:
I liked the game. It's good as a game alone. If you try to compare it with the first TOS you'll find yourself with death wishes in your head, seriously. Though, in the other hand, I'm pretty sure it doesn't attract any people who haven't played the first one, and it can become a bit confusing to them, and it'd surely give them a not really good image of the Tales' games truly are, in other words: heaven; so yeah, either way we come back to the death wishes.
Dunno if it just the insane fans of the first game that thinks like me -.- hmmm... but don't get me wrong, I actually liked it, but it's definitely not one of my fav games. Reasons to all of this crap I'm saying, ahead:

(not in particular order)

1.- English dub. Not really complaining for Emil, Marta and the other new characters but I DO complain for my beloved first TOS' characters. I want freakin' Lloyd's voice back! I was soooo happy when I heard Colette talking. I was thanking God for her voice and thought the others would be the same. . . but NO. At first Zelos' very first line (if I remember well) sounded like the oh-so-sexy Zelos.... until he said his second line, I had my doubts but I was pretty sure when the third one was spoken. Raine's and Regal's wasn't that bad, but still. Yuan, Genis, Presea, Sheena, Zelos and Lloyd! LLOYD! That's so. . . ugh! Scott come back! T^T Dubs were really sad but let's continue to the next one.

2.- Cut-scenes.
Cut-scenes, skits, cut-scenes, skits, cut-scenes, skits and going on forever~ Let me write it for you:

....
Emil: blah blah blah blah blah blah
Marta: I love you, Emil!
....

*cut-scene over. now you can walk and play and enjoy that games are done for you to do the work and not just watch*

*two, FREAKING TWO, steps later...*

You: Hey! Stupid Emil move!

*screen goes black*

you: oh crap! here we go again

Marta: I love you, Emil!

And that's what the game is about. I like watching cut-scenes and skits, but hey I don't like they're around the 80% of all the game! And all freakin' dialogues are spoken! It's true I wanted the characters to talk some more in the other game but hearing them all game just to say something like "look! a monster!" That's really irritating  ¬_¬ And yes Marta, yes, we've already heard you, we know you love Emil, and what's more: both Emils! so shut up. On to the next:

3.- The Lets-fight-with-monsters-instead-of-powerful-characters-which-you-still-play-with-almost-all-the-game-but-can't-level-up-or-equip-anything thingie. I felt I was in a Pokemon game. No one cares about freakin' monsters! That's why you kill them not fight along them! (Though, I must say I love my Fenrir) We want to play with characters. I do not care if I fight with Student 3 from Iselia or Half-elf Researcher 1 from Sybak but wtf with the freakin' monsters!? And you also get the powerful old characters to join you, with a freakin' stable level and weapons that seem to have been attached to their bodies and souls. ¬_¬ Sad. Next one:

4.- Story-line. The game's story wasn't bad at all. . . though all the centurion thingie was kind of odd -.- But you never get yourself in the story, you only watch Emil's fight with himself more than the Vanguard's acts and Niflheim's whatever-it-does thing. Lets compare with the first one. It had such a long and somewhat deep story. You got to know everything about the Desians and how it was linked to Cruxis, Mithos' reasons, characters' past, and everything about everything in the world! well... two worlds. You got into the story little by little, and that was awesome, really. Here we see that the Vanguard does some. . . um not really polite things, and yeah, that's all. You kill Alice, Decus and injure a little Marta's father and that's it with the Vanguard. Está más profundo un chapoteadero que esa historia. ¬_¬ and blah blah blah~ Next:

5.- Side-quests. I looove side-quests! This game had so many non-existant side-quests. That sums it up.

6.- I played for a week and a half and then I saw the word "Fin" on the screen. They were 25 hours of gameplay. Let me say it again: *cough cough* 25 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY. First TOS you ask? I've only played for 100+ HOURS and still haven't gotten everything, that's why a play it over and over again. I wanted to play the new one again to get some more things but, seriously, my first chance to move freely, I saved the game and turned off the wii. I was so bored thinking I had to hear and watch so many things again I really didn't feel like playing.

7.- Oh, yeah, almost forgot. DUNGEONS. I cleared the game waiting for a real dungeon to appear. I'm not lying, I seriously thought all the dungeons were like mini-dungeons, 'cause they were so frigin' easy. I was like "when are we heading to a real dungeon?" Though, it seems like the end of the game came before the answer.

And oh-so-many other things I didn't liked about the game. I know that, after reading this, no one will believe me if I said again: " But I actually liked the game" so I'm not gonna say it.

*sigh* Now I've complained about what made me disappointed in this game soooo,

I JUST WATCHED L ~CHANGE THE WORLD~ MOVIE
