A quick update
Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July weekend. Mine was quite boring, but that in and of itself is okay sometimes. Still working at the new job. It's had it's ups and downs with our trainer being out sick and random people filling in to try and get something done. We've had quite a few days as of late where we (and by 'we' I mean the training class) have felt unwanted by the staff at the center simply because we don't have a trainer and other people are having to take away from their jobs to try and teach us something. We JUST this past Thursday finished up with all of the safety portion of the training. I figure we've done about two weeks of training over the course of 2 months. Not so great seeing as to how the training was only supposed to be 8 weeks. I am told that they are bringing in a trainer from corporate to take over the program because our trainer will be out for a while. We'll see how that turns out. I just want this to hurry the hell up so that I can get out into the field and get me some overtime.
Other than that, nothing's really been going on. My roommate Chris and I have been trying to write some new music but it's slow going because of our conflicting work schedules. I've also taken on 1 1/2 guitar students which is kinda cool. One is interested in learning but stays a good distance away from me and the other actually lives here but doesn't really seem motivated to learn. Anywho, it's time to hit the sack so that I can start off another weekly grind.
