Man, this week sucked...

So this week has been pretty much a complete and utter waste. Started off with my job NOT living up to their promises of weekends off and making me works some saturdays this month. On top of that, I put in for some vacation time next week like 2 weeks ago and I STILL haven't heard back on whether I've been approved or denied. On top of that, I've had nothing but problem after problem with my new expensive computer. When I first got it, I totally loved Windows Vista and how fast the computer ran and how beautiful the monitor is but the wireless didn't work properly. I spent days on the phone with Dell regarding this and the last thing that they asked me to do was to update the firmware in our router. So I get around to doing this and all seems to be well with the wireless. I was testing it out when that very night the damn computer completely stopped working. Either the power supply went out or the mother board failed but it is DONE and at the time I didn't even have the computer for a week. I then I called Dell and they said that they'd send out a new motherboard and power supply and have someone come out to install them. Three days later I call Dell because nothing has happened and whoever was working the order DIDN'T PUT IN THE FREAKIN' REQUEST so I had to wait even LONGER for something to happen. But the following day this dude calls me and says that he's going to come out and look at the computer. I'm thinking that he's going to fix it but according to my roommate, all he did was to open it up and re-diagnose a problem that was already diagnosed. So he calls back again today and says that he's coming out again. I told BOTH of my roommates about this and asked that atleast one of them stick around until 4pm which was the end of the window and wouldn't you know, my damn roommates decided to go someone at 3:30pm and that's exactly when the guy came. So then I get a voice mail at work stating that because the appointment was missed, the parts have to go back to Dell and I'd have to call them back again. My level of frustration at this point is almost off the charts because I can't even access ANY of my files that I spent a DAY moving over to the new computer AND then there's the fact that my roommates essentially fucked me SIDEWAYZ when I asked them for the simplest favor. God knows that I don't ask much else of them aside from the rent money when it's due.  So now Dell has to re-ship the parts out AGAIN and I have to repeat the process. I'm trying my best to control my anger over the situation but after having just spent an hour on the phone with Dell just to tell them to restart the process again, it's truly hard. Writing this long rant has helped a bit and I'll get over my current frustrations as soon as my computer is up and running again and I can access all of my files (and create a BACKUP of them because this is rediculous).

Anywho, I've gotta work tomorrow morning so it's off to bed. Later journal.
