I GOT IT!!!
I still can't believe it, but I actually got that new computer that I was really wanting. My mom & my stepdad let me use their credit information to get a credit line with Dell so that I was able to build myself a really nice machine. At first, I was going to just get an Inspiron but the specs on them weren't really all that great. Then I started created an XPS and realized that it was only a few hundred dollars more but with much better specs. What I ended up getting is an XPS 420 with a 2.4GHz Intel quad core processor, 3 gigs of Ram, 300GB hard drive with Windows Vista Home Premium. Along with this very sleek and beautiful machine comes a 22 inch widescreen digital monitor. I know all of this is just mumbo jumbo to a lot of people but basically it boils down to a pretty badass machine. It also came with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse which is really cool because it cuts down on the total number of wires laying around. Now all I have to do is to figure out how to pay for the thing...:D
In other news, they let me off early on New Year's Eve so I went out with my roommate and his friends from his home town. We hit up a bar/club downtown and stayed there until about 2:30am, then went to get some breakfast before calling it a night around 5am. Then I had to wake up for work at 9am the same day which was just really harsh. I had a pretty fun time, though. Ended up spending a LOT of money. Glad I'm not really into that sort of lifestyle because I would be perpetually broke if I even did that once a week! Anywho, it's time to get a little research done and then off to bed.
