Who: Bruce and Tony, and then the Hulk and smashing and YOU! When: When everyone gets their powers back. Where: All around the grounds. What: HULK SMASH
The Doctor made sure to stay hidden during the fighting around the dorm building, because honestly, he didn't know if there was anything he could possibly do to help the super heroes in their fight. He wasn't physically on the same level as them and would've probably been useless.
So when the Hulk was lead elsewhere, the Doctor came out to inspect the damage and try to formulate a plan of action to stop this. So naturally, he took off running in the path the Hulk left behind. Maybe he'll come up with something in the process.
Rose would have caught up with the Doctor much earlier, but there was just no safe way to get to him past the rampaging green monster or the flashy heroes with their super powers back. Essentially she's stuck waiting, nursing a headache that doesn't get any better with all the roaring going on.
Once he moved on and she spotted the Doctor take off, though, she was only too happy to sprint after him. She grabbed his hand once she successfully caught up to him...mostly just to let him know she was there. "Have a plan yet?"
He gave her hand a squeeze, "Not yet." When did he ever? Always making something up spur of the moment - that was him!
Right now, he was trailing the Hulk, hoping to study him and gain an idea of how to navigate him somewhere else or calm him. "Any ideas yourself?" It was like old times again with her at his side.
She grinned. "S'what I figured." He never did. She'd be worried if he ever said he had a plan for something like this and she believed him. It'd mean things were much worse than she thought.
"We could drop the barrier and let him through? He looks like he could take a few tentacle monsters." 'drop the barrier' in this case probably meant 'find someone who can drop it and convince them to let that thing out before it got to the barrier', but that's really par for the course. It was very much like old times indeed.
"I don't know how to open the barrier." Closing it was another story and a task within itself, but to actually open it for just a short period of time was a difficult concept. He didn't know how unstable it would be and if it would only be temporary.
"I'd work, but I don't think it's feasible." Next plan? He was working on it as his eyes darted around their surroundings, hoping for a clue of some sort.
"Find a control panel, start pressing buttons?" Because nothing could go wrong with that plan. Nothing. Still, she'll call that Plan B for now.
She purses her lips, watching the path of the giant. "I don't think we want it to hit the barrier, right? It could weaken it or knock it down or something." Which would just be. Terrible. Convenient, but terrible. "Could try leading it in a circle along the barrier until it tires out?"
The Hulk is looking for the way out. He remembers this from the last time. Tony had led him out, and now the Hulk's going back that same way, more than ready to get away from the little people and their little weapons.
And Thor. He glances over his shoulder to make sure that guy's not coming after him again. Ol' Long Hair is not one the Hulk really wants to tangle with right now.
When he turns back around, he finds he's walked up to two more little people. Fantastic.
"Out of Hulk's way," he snarls, and starts stomping around him.
The Doctor stood his ground, looking up at the large green man. "Only if you're not going to harm any more people!" If he were anyone else right now, he'd swallow nervously and hope that no large green fists came this way for him.
Actually, he was thinking that this very moment, "Tell me how to help you!"
Oooh, she's worried when the big green guy turns toward them, but--oh? It talks? It's a he! She hadn't really noticed before. Blame extreme exhaustion.
One could blame that one why she wasn't frightened by a great big talking man who...could quite possibly eat her, but they'd be wrong. That'd just be Rose.
She could let the Doctor talk...and probably should, but she's curious: "Where would you go if we moved?"
"Hulk harms people who get in his way," he growls, pointedly. And he keeps on walking. They can keep up if they want to, but he's on his way to where he left the last time, weird yellow wall or no. Walls aren't really a match for him. Nothing is, so there.
Well maybe stupid Thor.
Also no one really thinks to try to talk to him first. Thor had, but Thor's stupid. No, not stupid for doing that; he was just ready to attack the Hulk, and he knew it.
"No, that's fine! Brilliant! Actually, I was going to request you not to hurt anyone else." The Doctor speaks as he has to kind of keep a jog next to the green giant.
"I'd be glad to help you out the barrier, if you need it... But... I can't promise anything good is outside. It could be dangerous." He'd hate to allow the giant through and him end up being killed or maimed. The Doctor had enough guilt on his conscious.
Okay, following after the big green talking guy is better than getting plowed over by him, so that works for Rose.
"Hulk's your name? I wanna go too, Hulk, and I'm not gonna try t'stop you if you go. But if you just break through, you could break the whole barrier, and no one here'll be protected anymore. You can go...but d'you really want everyone here hurt or killed cos of it?"

"Hulk wants to leave. Leave Hulk alone."
