He's not actually planning on saying anything when he sees Bruce heading across the lawn. They're not really speaking and its been almost two days now since that tiny little argument about Loki and SHIELD and hand sanitizer... But c'mon Bruce. Buddy system. Didn't you see the PSA from the police the other day?

No one should be wandering around alone. So, snatching up his little bottle of love -- hand made, Bruce Banner love dedicated to the eradication of germs -- Tony sprints after him.

"Bruce!"

Okay.

"Banner, stop. Please. Thor is beating me senseless, don't make me run!"

He's been avoiding Tony, it's true, but he hasn't known what to say. What is there to say? And the monster thing -- he hasn't been able to shake that off. He knows Tony doesn't really think of him like that; Bruce thinks of himself like that, maybe it's rubbing off. Still, he keeps hearing it.

He slows down when he hears Tony, but it's the last thing that makes him stop, and he turns around, his hands sliding into his pockets.

"That's kind of your fault." It is. He'd better not have broken something.

At least his eyes have gone back to normal. That seams to have made Thor a little less beaty actually. The bruise over Tony's left eye is just healing and the purple is fading to a sick sort of yellow and yet-- It kinda works for him in that ruggest sort of way.

He grins at Banner and slips his hands into his pockets as well. The mirror each other for a moment, not really looking anywhere, until Tony gets his ducks in a row and stops acting like a brat.

"Okay, yeah, it is my fault but you could take pity on me."

Diana wasn't doing so well. She immediately knew she was Cainite again when her pulse, you know, stopped. And she'd been prepared for that.

What she wasn't entirely prepared for was the feeling like her head was in a jar. It was like she hadn't eaten in weeks. And, yeah, in all fairness, she hadn't. But still. Unfair.

She didn't have a lot of options, but she knew she could go to Tony in a pinch. Sure, he was a little lecherous. But he seemed like a good guy underneath it all. And he'd proven himself pretty damn trustworthy.

So there she was. Staggering a little as she started to make her way to where she thought he might be hiding out.

And that's when she saw a big, green...thing.

The Hulk is angry. Obviously, but angrier than usual. The last time he'd broken out was when Banner was stabbed because if Banner's life goes, his life goes. And he doesn't want to give up on his life. This time? He doesn't know how he knows, but he knows -- Banner had gotten rid of him. That is not acceptable.

These people, this place, it helped him, and the Hulk is going to tear through it, and then he's going to send himself far away from here.

The Hulk sees Diana and stops, giving her his full attention; his lips come up in a snarl, and he decides -- yes -- target. There's a second where he just stares at her. And then he charges.

Her hand immediately went over her shoulder, reaching for her sword which was...not there.

"Merde," she swore softly. In her hunger and confusion, she must have left it in her room. Which left her miserably ill-equipped to deal with the...

...what was it, anyway?

The creature was coming closer but, it didn't look like quite the same thing as the tentacles. It had eyes. And eyes meant something could be Dominated, right?

Well, it wasn't like she had much of a choice.

Diana raised her chin, trying to look defiant. It had all the impact of a fluffy white kitten pretending to be a Bengal tiger, but she still tried. She stared directly into other creature's eyes, forcing her will out. "Freeze!" she commanded it.

After the situation with Grace Barlow, the altar, and the broken spell, Laura's senses had been kicked into overdrive. She was on her way to take care of some things for Bigby when she heard a familiar sound.

The Hulk. Different from the one back home, but still the same rage monster posing the same level of danger to those around him.

Her claws were out reflexively before she'd even moved toward the exit. She couldn't stop him, no one could, but she could distract him. Slow him down. Save the people inside.

Laura flies out of the field house, running straight at the Hulk. She jumps into the air when he's close enough, flipping up and over, aiming for his back as she comes down claws-first. Her intention is to dig them in, get a grip, keep her in place. The two claws on her feet come out as well.

She pulls her right arm back only to plunge the metal into his neck repeatedly. She's not trying to inflict damage, that would be pointless. She's just trying to get his attention.

Ow! He really hates it when they get on his back; he has to twist all around to get them off and -- ow -- she keeps stabbing him with pointy things! It's like little needle pricks, and though it doesn't really incapacitate him, it really annoys the shit out of him. Damn little people and their little weapons.

The Hulk twists and reaches for his back and cranes his neck and finally he gets a grip on Laura; he tugs until he pries her off his back, and he gives her a good, loud growl before he tosses her down on the ground. Where she belongs.

She wanted his attention; she's got it now as he steps forward, poised and ready to see if she's going to get up.

Finding Jade Jaws was easy compared to figuring out how to get him to calm down, getting people out of his way, or getting him to...outside of the barrier. Which was impossible in his eyes. Harry was dead. They would just have to wait until he calmed down. He felt lucky that Hulk hadn't gotten to the dorms, but making his way to the Field House. Considering what happened there...they may have been better off letting him tear it down ( ... )

Thor will not let Banner or his alter-ego tear down the building they all call home and endanger the souls inside of it. He hits the ground in front of the Hulk and holds out a hand. The other-- the one bearing the hammer-- is low at his side.

It is the first time in weeks that he wears his proper armor, the bright red cape. He feels elated with his strength, with his connection to the current of the universe-- even a universe as small as this one.

"Stop, friend!"

But even as alive and powerful as he feels, Thor will not begin a fight with the Hulk. The last time they met they fought as allies. "Hear me!"

The last time they met, and they fought as allies, it hadn't been like this. Banner had given himself over to the Hulk; when there's cooperation between them, things are far better. When the Hulk takes over though -- when he wrests control from Banner and casts Banner to the farthest corner of their mind -- he doesn't really care what the other man wants; clearly Banner doesn't care what he wants. No one does.

Now here's this man with his funny hammer, and he wants the Hulk to listen? When does anyone listen to him?

"No. Hear me," he growls, and then he charges for Thor, his fist rearing back and preparing to swing.

Thor ducks under the oncoming ram of an arm, swinging his hammer in a tight upward arc right toward the charging stomach of the green titan.

If this is how the Hulk wishes things to go, then Thor will see to it that he is not disappointed.

The Doctor made sure to stay hidden during the fighting around the dorm building, because honestly, he didn't know if there was anything he could possibly do to help the super heroes in their fight. He wasn't physically on the same level as them and would've probably been useless.

So when the Hulk was lead elsewhere, the Doctor came out to inspect the damage and try to formulate a plan of action to stop this. So naturally, he took off running in the path the Hulk left behind. Maybe he'll come up with something in the process.

Rose would have caught up with the Doctor much earlier, but there was just no safe way to get to him past the rampaging green monster or the flashy heroes with their super powers back. Essentially she's stuck waiting, nursing a headache that doesn't get any better with all the roaring going on.

Once he moved on and she spotted the Doctor take off, though, she was only too happy to sprint after him. She grabbed his hand once she successfully caught up to him...mostly just to let him know she was there. "Have a plan yet?"

He gave her hand a squeeze, "Not yet." When did he ever? Always making something up spur of the moment - that was him!

Right now, he was trailing the Hulk, hoping to study him and gain an idea of how to navigate him somewhere else or calm him. "Any ideas yourself?" It was like old times again with her at his side.
