Pleasant memories
I got some "favorites" on an old story I had completely forgotten writing! https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6457263/1/ My "Here Comes the Bride" fanfic. I've forgotten what happens in it. I might read it again. I wonder if I'll be surprised??
I've also ran across this photo on Tumblr that reminded me of an old Professionals fan fiction I wrote, A Self-Sufficient Life., a rather domestic "gardeny" sort of AU. I can just picture the Bodie in that story building a wall just like this...probably while Doyle in the AU does something hopelessly optimistic with a garden.
It's nice to have some good memories of fandom times. I remember so much self-doubt and angst, usually.
I wish I could get into S&H again. I miss the guys. I just don't seem to have it in me to write them lately. I wrote and read and watched with such intensity for several years, and then sort of...stopped. I miss it, but I don't have it in me (time or energy) to devote like that again. Maybe someday I'll be able to incorporate fandom into my life again, but right now there doesn't seem to be room.
I am hoping to re-publish my Bailey Montagne story "Men and Dragons" soon on the Kindle. I have a LOVELY cover!! I got my rights back last year but didn't republish it yet.
