on improving

I think my writing is improving a bit. Sometimes when I re-read an old story of mine, I think, "I could do better than that now." Usually not in a huge way, just something like wording or description. But that's something, right?

If I get a little better every year and keep practicing, well, it's worth it. Even if I don't see huge improvements.

Besides, I really write because I just have to. It seems to be necessary to me.
