here's my midnight confession
I think I have to admit something that I really, really, really hate to admit: I am, sometimes, kind of a slash fan. Sometimes.
I hate to admit this because it feels like I am saying everyone who ever looked down on me for writing mushy gen was right about me, that all I ever was is a slash fan in denial.
I hate that, because I don't believe it: but it IS denial to say I don't ever like it, because sometimes, I do. It depends on the story, and on how I'm feeling.
I have even written a bit experimentally, and probably not very good.
That was really hard to admit. :(
