OMG work was soooo freaking busy this week.
We started the November Savings Guide Passout (that's the one you get in the store), and Food/Drug has 20 freaking pages with 16 blocks each!
And guess who gets to enter all that?! (Okay, not drug yet. J's still doing that for a few weeks.)
I didn't finish under Friday morning, and of course week 39 circular was due Thursday night and I hadn't even started it!
Going back to the previous week, the one I did on my own the first time, I had to go back and correct some copy. See? I'm not a copywriter. That's the part that worries me. AND they're bringing in someone to help who does have a background in marketing, and moving her to my seat. Moving me to the "bullpen" area a row over. I think she's supposed to be helping me. But the weekly isn't a problem getting done. It's this monthly thing. Geez.... unless they're going to have her do all the corrections, like D is doing for AMPS.
I don't know if that's good or bad. S is also going to work on another project as well.

Had to change the date of the shower to the following weekend. That's the weekend Stanley could get off.
His dad is in very bad shape. They had to do a quadruple bi-pass, and then he ended up in emergency surgery for something else with his heart on Tuesday night. His liver is failing.
He's got Hepatitis C! They can't figure out where he got it. It's possible he's had it awhile, but it's been dormant. He's been having tremendous problems for months, and that's probably why.
Of course the alcoholism doesn't help, either.
They're batting down the hatches right now. Irene's just starting to hit Ocean City, MD right now.
While our weather's gorgeous! 82 degrees, sun shining, slight cooling breeze.

Good news that Sue David has come back to the fandom and is writing again!
And BIG thank yous to the people who nominated Hunter. I'll bet Nick is very pleased and will pass on the word to her hubby.
And I was very surprised to see my name on the Ollies as a general 'thank you' for doing the weekly caption game. Funnily enough, I was planning on stopping it, since it wasn't getting as much response as normal. The nomination rejuevenated my faith.
