project diary - day 17

Went over a lot today. It's a lot to take in. Because initially we will only be worrying abt the IL rollout, our process will be simpler. So I'll be doing the jobs that five people do in OK. Eventually they've talked abt getting be an asst. Right before rollout, probably in Sept, A & BG will come out to Chicagi to help with the warehouse flow, inventory audits, & SAP.
I'm going back w/lots of questions and suggestions.
One thing that bothered me was no one wondered or asked what I was doing 4 lunch. And then the office mgr went around and asked all the office personnel if they wanted anything from Burger King. She didn't even consider me, and I was sitting right there! I was really hurt.
So when I got done meeting everyone, it was only 3:50. I wasn't going to sit around doing nothing, so I left for the day. Relaxed, went to dinner (rememberedy $ this time).
Abt 815, I went downtown to see the OKC Nat'l Memorial. Went at the right time. It was dusk, the weather was nice, and all the lights were coming on.
When I get back I'll post the pictures I took.
