i am utterly obsessed with the tv show glee! i love the songs, i love the dancing, i love the characters (oh, they're so lovable each and every single one of them, even dear old sue!)it's the best show on television since the o.c (withstanding the time when i was utterly obsessed with tv shows featuring axe murderers getting apprehended by cute nerdy fbi agents such as dr. spencer reid/matthew gray gubler of criminal minds).

i remember when there was a time i had a crush on nerdiness/geekiness. there was something irrevocably enticing about someone who is obsessed with star wars, has star wars videos, watched star wars videos, has stars videos rather than star wars dvds, collects lightsabres, knows physics & maths equations off the back of his hand, international affairs are part of an everyday conversation, history textbooks are easy, purchasers transformers off ebay, japanese animation is a hobby and gaming a job. nerdiness is always affiliated with intelligence and most often, that is correct. i've never met a dumb nerd/geek. i'd like to be a geek sometimes, i'd even marry a nerd/geek (although i'd worry that i'm competing with a machine).
pros and cons of marrying a emo nerd/geek:
pros:
+ he's smart enough to decipher between your and you're
+ he would capitalise his text messages like this 'I love you, darling dear!' rather than type 'i wuv u 4 life babez!!
+ he knows who jane austen is
+ would watch a hayao miyazaki animation with me on a date
+ can fix my virus-ridden laptop for free
+ would woo me with a love poem and a mixcd when i'm blue
+ he would share his vast 20 000+ music/film file collection with me from his laptop
+ educated (enough said)
+ knows death cab for cutie not just because they're on the twilight new moon soundtrack
+ can appreciate my barbie collection
+ shy (i love shy boys)
+ prefers picnics to alcohol fuelled parties and bars
+ wears sweaters and converse sneakers
cons:
- walking dictionary of made-up colloquial terms
- pervs on megan fox & natalie portman (i get jealous)
- star wars is (slightly) cheesy
- love of the machine (i mean the computer)
