Birthday Wish
This year is a big year, it's a fiver. I wanted to do something big and special, but the lack of money, time, and other life hurdles is preventing that. I wish I could see everyone for my birthday, but that is not always possible, and it has been a rough time of it lately. So, I am asking for a special gift from everyone. I would love it if you made me a 3.5-inch square (there's a hint in that number) that makes you think of me: be it theatre masks, a fandom, a certain pattern, the Chicago skyline, whatever. Crochet it, knit it, needlepoint, quilt, draw it on felt, it will be incorporated into one big blanket. Then, when the nights get cold and the days get dragged down by drama and too many things to name, I have something awesome to cover me, and remind me of all the great things that keep me going and the wonderful people that have ever thought about me.
