Too many things, not enough time!

Here we go! Life is getting rather complicated once again.

First of all, Team GEEK's first fundraiser for this fiscal year is tomorrow night. I hope many people can make it out!

I always worry about each fundraiser, whether it will be a success or not. I know I'm not the only one that does that, but, you know.

This coming Saturday is also the 7th Whoniverse Photoshoot. We never thought the first one would be successful, much less the others. It always pleasantly surprises us, and we find ourselves always looking forward to each 2x a year. So, for the locals:

Whoniverse 7: "Come along...we have work to do."

Date: Saturday, October 13, 2012
Time: 10am-5pm
Location: Skokie Sculpture Park

"Time will tell, always does."

It does, it tells us it is time for the Seventh Whoniverse Photoshoot! Wow, time flies when you are battling Daleks (in many forms), stopping the Master's nefarious plans, fending off Jack's advances, upgrading Mr. Smith, and taking tea with old friends - among other things - while rattling around in a raggedy old TARDIS.

Check your costumes, clear your SD cards, brush up on your trivia, and get ready for a fun day out with fellow Whovians (It's a word! It's in the dictionary now!) Also - pick out a book, as we're bringing back the photos of characters reading books!! Think about what YOUR character would love to read! (feel free to talk to knitchick1979 for book suggestions!)

Location has been decided! We'll be spending the whole day at the Skokie Sculpture Park, on McCormick Blvd between Touhy & Dempster. The plan is to spend the morning in Section IV (which is closest to Touhy Ave), then the afternoon in the middle sections (a little further north). Late in the afternoon we might visit Section I (furthest north) for a little board game or poker action.

Visit http://sculpturepark.org/ for more information on the location. Also, check out Mary Jo's photos from our scouting trip. And stay tuned for transit details!!

Just, beware disobeying orders and carrying around unnecessary Nitro-9.

Always excited about those events, but nervous as well. These weeks I also went for several medical tests. I will update people when I get all the results. I also have other legal problems stemming from an event over two years ago. Life does not slow down.

But! I did my first full shift at the new job as an Independent Contractor. I worked at the Target at Golf Mill Mall handing out samples and telling people about the new house detergent. It was fun to interact with people again!

health, team geek, work, life, relay for life
