I am so her daughter. They think it was a heart attack.

Oh my dear friend. That can't have been easy. did she have a heart condition? (if you don't mind me asking)

Not fully, but she was diabetic, had borderline high blood pressure, severe sleep apnea, and was overweight. And she had had cellulitis and "flesh eating disease" in the past. It was a shock. But she did say "I love you" before she died.

Oh my poor friend, sounds like your mom had lots of problems, its so nice that she told you she loved you before she died, she must hve loved you a great deal.
