So I'm thinking of killing one of my Milliways pups...

It's all there in the title! I'm seriously giving thought to the murdering of one of my pups from Milliways, and I'm actually really excited about it! But first I should probably explain a little bit, like, say, who and why and how.

To be fair, that was mostly character bleed. Ichigo doesn't want Kaye to die! D: Nobody reeeeally mind if Jack dies though. :D

I think this makes a lot of sense! At least as an option to keep in mind for possible later use.

Heck, one of my past characters (Alain Johns) is somebody I initially played as an NPC for his death scene so that his canonmates could play out that blaze-of-glory battle. And I finished the scene, looked at it as his friends carried on their reaction tags, and said "I'm apping him. I can't leave it at that. There's more he needs to say."

And I've never regretted that at all. Being dead at Milliways, especially after a life filled with action and purpose, is a very different proposition from being alive and able to wander to and fro at will. I eventually moved him on to the afterlife, along with his closest dead friends from his world and timeline, and I haven't regretted that either, but it was a great run. And I think a lot of interesting characterization stuff, for him and his canonmates both, came out of that.
