Ahh! Well, great job on your CIM audition aside from the Bach E Major!! Hehe Nicole you are an excellent player...what are you saying?

I haven't started practicing AllState music yet...ahhaha oops? Do you know what we're supposed to wear for the concert? "Your regular orchestra clothes" is rather vague.

UGHHH!!!
Okay, so some STUPID high schools have awful orchestra uniforms - what comes to mind is some awful princessy green atrocity of a ballgown, or something, but the thing is that MOST high schools don't use these things at all. I think the point of people wearing their schools' uniforms is, you know, like when you go to Festival of Nations or something and people are wearing their 'native costumes,' like to show off the different schools represented. HOWEVER, in the past 3 years, basically EVERYONE has worn black. I, for one, cannot stand wearing anything BUT black for orchestra concerts - I really hate wearing B&W. Black is SO much more professional.

SO WEAR BLACK, is what I'm saying. Also, thank your lucky stars that you don't have some poufy-sleeved shiny green ballgown for an orchestra uniform. :)

Waaaaaiiit... is Brittany Henry a violist? The violist in my quartet at Madeline Island was named Brittany, although I forgot her last name.

yep.. shes really good, and its pretty likely that she went to madeline island with you. I know she went this past summer! Shes very good!

She is quite good. I feel terrible, though... in a giant downbow I hit her scroll with my frog screw and knocked a small chip out of her viola. She didn't really talk to me much after that :)

i must be terribly unfocused or soemthing.. i swear i read violinist... wow..
