i love that this is considered overcast there. in oregon it's overcast when it's completely cloudy but not raining.
you really should put all your photos together as a testament to the local wildlife. we have like... squirrels here (which are wonderful!) and i'm always stunned that all these beautiful creatures are there for you any morning you wish to see them.
lol - too funny - just realized that most of the photos show plenty of blue sky! Actually, though, we are coming off of about three days of "disturbed weather" so there were lots of big cloudy areas throughout the morning. The good part was having a big cumulus cloud float over the sun just when you saw something you wanted to take a photo of. But I am sure that is definitely not overcast by Oregon standards.
You know I always thought places like Washington and Oregon would have lots of different kinds of wildlife (aside from squirrels - lol!) I think of Oregon, and I think of lush green trees and forests and rivers and lakes...have never been there, mind you, but that's what I always thought it was like...prime landbase for all sorts of critters. And Florida is so overdeveloped that it's amazing anything can survive here.
She is a sweetie. She's obviously the baby of the family because even though she is old enough to fly and hunt, she still sits in the nest and calls for mama and papa to bring her breakfast!
Thank you and thanks for adding me - your kitties are beautiful. Be sure to scroll down in my journal to see pictures of the little feral cat colony that calls my backyard home. My own cats are indoor kitties, but I do love the little wild ones too, even though I worry about them constantly.
