pluses (somewhat chronological order):
+venice beach
+getty center (running into my old boss who let us sit in on a tour she was giving to portland MFA students).
+santa monica
+long beach aquarium
+griffith observatory (2 days before the big fire at griffith park)
+shrek 3 screening + farmer's market @ the grove
+nucleus power in numbers show
+devotchka @ disney concert hall
+brian's bday get-together
+buying my mom an iron for mother's day
+second cousin's wedding lunch / reception (shrimp, lobster, sea cucumber, fish, shark fin soup.. holy smokes)
+danny's bbq
+perogies + before sunrise + before sunset + me being a 12 year old boy
+lawrence's bday get-together
+aaron's bbq
+once* (the movie) + ...
+arboretum
+once again
+bowling + starcraft
+playing more bball
+going to the gym / trying to stay healthy
+continuing my scrabble win streak (3 come from behind wins!)
+after effects class (kind of boring, but i'm learning)
minuses:
-rockets being eliminated by the jazz
-parking ticket @ santa monica
-staying at work 'til 9pm everyday for a week working on a site redesign proposal (which we ultimately will probably lose to sapient)
-getting ripped off for half a bottle of wine at @ disney concert hall
-not enough sleep
-not drawing / reading as much
-swimming through general malaise / unease
-confusion + sighing
*i like this movie a lot, even though i promised myself to never like movies like this ever again. oh well.
