i went to an advance screening of shrek 3 last night at the grove. it was good / okay. i haven't seen the first or second, but i heard they were better. i also never knew there was a 'farmer's market' at the grove.. which i enjoyed thoroughly.
i purchased some new cds recently: halo benders - the rebels not in, bonnie 'prince' billy - i see a darkness, low - secret name. they are all pretty good. this is the second time i purchased the low album. the first time i did, they put the wrong low cd in the case (songs for a dead pilot e.p.). i was relieved to find the correct cd this time around. secret name is much better. the title track on the bonnie 'prince' billy album is haunting... and so much better than johnny cash's cover of it (unlike what he did with hurt).
i also purchased a pantone bridge (solid to process) swatch book on ebay the other day. i am looking forward to it and being able to better match the colors for the shirts i want to print. they are very expensive for what are essentially paint chips.
anyway...
