Ender's Game is great. I'm halfway through, and already recommending it to strangers. The politics of children is fascinating; it kind of reminds me of this book by Margaret Atwood, "Cat's Eye". Extremely depressing, but reward comes in the form of painful, lucid honesty

I loathe and detest facebook. It's just a forum for exhibitionist socialite show-offs to swap useless cyber-crap and collect friends they don't even like or talk to. Is that harsh? I just can't be bothered with it anyway, I use it to keep up with party invites and that's about it. Give me LJ anyway, here I can wallow happily in filthy slash like an anonymous little piglet...
