Have you heard of furoshiki? I use them to take my bentos to work as well as to wrap jakob's and B's lunches up. We use regular handkerchiefs.... but how neat it would be to get a scarf with your present! Some lovely silk cloth.... etc.

When you're out and about entering and exiting a building that has an automatic door and that regular ol door you gotta push to go through... choose the door you gotta push. You'll waste alot less electricity/energy....
