I've been posting thoughts on the new anime at my own journal lately, but I figured I'd do it here this time, because I'm curious to hear what everyone else thinks about it so far.

So I just watched the first episode of the new anime, and even though I thought the opening was generic at first, when I started paying attention to the lyrics I felt like they were very fitting!  They're very simple, this literally took me 5 minutes to translate, but I feel like they do capture the feeling of the series quite well. I just finished watching it. You can grab the subbed episode from the normal anime torrent places, though I think HorribleSubs is the only group doing HxH right now. So I guess this is a general discussion post about the new anime/first episode.

Always wanted to post fanfic here, but I've still yet to flesh out a good enough plot. Until then, have some Yorkshin Arc AMV? Made it over the weekend to celebrate getting the After Effects free trial and having three weeks off school.

I've been rewatching the Yorkshin arc for the past few weeks, and what started out as a couple quick screenshots of funny faces quickly became one hundred and twenty five icons, all cropped in Paint.
