Which is what I'm worried about. ;; It really is his fault, though not directly, and while I'm sure he puts Gon and Alluka above the butlers, Gotoh and Canary especially are important to him as people who both understand how the family works and are trustworthy.
Who knows what Illumi's up to. Plan B, I guess. Probably going after Killua, what with the other butlers all doing the same. Or perhaps preparing another big move.
Yeah. You see it in a lot of characters of this archetype. That idea of smiling not for yourself but for someone else. Most people interpret it as, using Kil and Al as examples, Alluka being the only one for whom Killua feels that way. But I prefer to see it as Killua acting that way because he knows acting that way will make Alluka happy, not because he's happy. He's clearly far from it. Plus, I like to think it fits that selfless nature of his and his tendency to lie. He cares about her like no other, but the truth lies less in what he says and more in the fact that he ain't letting go for anything.
