Thoughts on the new anime so far?

I've been posting thoughts on the new anime at my own journal lately, but I figured I'd do it here this time, because I'm curious to hear what everyone else thinks about it so far.

It's episode 6 already this week, and I have to admit that I've completely gotten used to the style of the new anime, even though I don't neccesarily love everything

I really WANT to like this anime, so if I'd nitpick at every little thing it'd take away the enjoyment for me. So I'm just liking everything there is to like, and ignoring the points that are not so good. (It's not like the old anime will go anywhere, it's always there for us to go back to and enjoy) I know what the original characters are like, they are already well established in my head, so I don't miss anything in their interaction. I'm just seeing everything that is there in the new anime as a fun addition to everything that already exists. ^^ That's also why the animation quality doesn't bother me, I know what the characters look like already, so I can overlook it and be able to enjoy the anime for what it is. I actually like the fact that some things are cutesy-fied, because it's something that makes it different from the original adaptation.

I thought that the boob shot was there to emphasize that Netero was staring at Menchi, but I could be wrong. XD;

I agree so hard with this comment. Actually, I'm more a fan of the manga than any of the animes,but I don't want to compare them. If I want to revisit the manga or the first anime, they're there for me, and this new anime gives me something to watch with my boyfriend on Sunday mornings. There are some things I really like about it, like Hisoka's theme and Gon and Killua being adorable, and the things I don't like don't even bother me so much.

Wasn't Netoro a total pervert in the manga? No maybe it was just the last anime. They didn't make it obvious enough in this it just looked like fanservice.
