Cool
Part Three of Story's End

“Hey Sammy!”

Sam smiled at his brother as he jumped up from the bench in front of the library. He grabbed his backpack and threw it over one shoulder, closing the distance between the Impala and himself.  When he got there he threw the bag in back and jumped in the front seat.

Ok, you have to continue this if only because I'm curious to see how the story line will diverge from Clocks. They're younger so there will be different issues. Would love to see where that sweet innocent forever bond takes them.

You hit the nail on the head as to why I haven't updated this in so long! The last time I did I felt like the two stories were too similiar. (this was last updated when Clocks was at Eleven O'Clock where Dean takes Sam out to celebrate his first quarter :P) Clocks has definitely grown from where it was though and I feel like I have a voice in this again.

And there will definitely be different issues now. Sam will get the chance to go to the same high school and graduate and do all the things Dean didn't. Dean will be doing the steady job thing and will learn how to live within society, even while he's yearning for what else there is. It will take a while to get there, but I think when Sam graduates from high school, the boys will have some very interesting choices to make about their lives :P

So ... they are getting that same fresh start, but so much earlier in life that their choices are more varied. Tainted by the fact that they are so much younger and are limited in what they can do, for now. Interesting.

Would they feel the need to fall back on the support of the hunting community out of neccessity? In Clocks, it seems more like they do it because they want to help people. They can't just stop when they know the good they can do.

In Clocks I think it's more than just the need to help people, especially for Dean. He still needs that validation. He was 21 by the time that series started and he'd been hunting with John for a long time. It's what he knows and what he's comfortable with ( ... )
