- I do not know the exact cost, but an extra plate is not "a few dollars". The cost of one of the reasons why we did not want to guess how many people were going to Super Sponsor and end up spending too much money.
- I do not know why you were not informed about not getting the luncheon when you upgraded. I will check with Registration and Kage and one of us will get back to you. I apologize if there was any confusion.

I did instruct my staff this year on the new policy that we can't offer luncheon's for folks who upgrade on site. To the best of my own memory, I tried to make it quite clear to upgrading folks that this was not possible.
Obviously, I or my staff didn't in your case. And I owe you a sincere apology for it.
If at all possible, I'd like to figure out who handled your upgrade. Do you recall the day and approximate time you registered?
Also, since your primary motivation was the luncheon and we screwed up, I'm more than willing to refund you and your friend down to a sponsor. We are not in the habit of grafting our attendees, and I won't have even the implication of that floating around.
Feel free to contact me at bennie@anthrocon.org. Especially with badge contact information so I can arrange the refund.
