the funniest thing in the world is picking blades of grass and dropping them on the cat. Second only to trying to put a sunhat on said cat  that is. Or it is if you are 18 months old ( Read more... )

Okay how about this Saturday? C'mon over and we'll eat food and watch the boys run around 'till they drop - we hope :)

WE'll be there. YOu know we're vegetarian and Jamie can't eat eggs? Hope taht's not a problem - we're not picky otherwise.

What time do you want us and what shall we bring?

I did not know about Jamie and eggs, but now I do. Come around 11:30ish? Sound ok. If you would like to bring something to drink that would be fab. I was thinking of salad, bread and spready things like hummus. What's your views on green olives? Is there anything your boys really love or totally hate?

Sounds excellent. We all like olives of any hue. Ferdi will eat pretty much anything (or at least gleefully rub it in his hair which is the same thing if you're one) Crispin is pickier but will always eat bread - if there's cheese or pesto to go on it he's very happy :-)

We'll bring drinks - anything you guys are particularly keen on (or not)?

We avoid the fizzy horrors with the kids and go for fruit juice diluted with soda water or flavored milk. How does that score with you? Basically, we avoid coke and kids like the plague :)

looks like we're going to have to bail on you. jamie's been in bed all day with some kind of lurg. He's off at the doctor now but with his temperature still rising it doesn't look like we'll be going anyplace tomorrow. Maybe we can reschedule?
