As I was walking to the parking lot today after school I overheard a group of male students talking by the gym (sound carries over the parking lot for some reason). My students weren't talking, I don't think, but I heard Ms. Skylark's kid say that "Mrs. Shaw has a black girl booty." I couldn't help but laugh as I got into the car. Now I know why the boys are wanting to come by afterschool and help move my stuff into my new room... that and I give candy away. Chocolate is a HUGE motivation factor.
