I've been thinking for a long time about what I could possibly write.
My best friend from Albuquerque turned 18 today. And I'm not there to celebrate with her. Kind of disappointing.
There are a few interesting tidbits from work:
--Death and Grieving is located between Sex and Addiction.
--An older woman called to request a book be taken off the shelf. Not only could she not provide any basic information about this book, she kept saying we had to get rid of it because she's "from the FBI". And why did we need to do this? "Because it's offending the Christian church."
--Another older woman came up to a coworker of mine and said, "You are Satan's peddlers, and you're going to burn in hell." He just said thank you and walked away.
I'm having a really difficult time reading anything. No book seems to hold my attention for very long. It's maddening, because reading is practically my raison d'être.
