Yesterday, we had a perfect day! Sunny and warm and beautiful sky~ But today, it rains again. What a summer it has been!
I was wondering why my parents encourage me to be a certain way and why my cousin's parents encourage him to be a certain other way. For example, my cousin, who's a boy, told me that it is unbecoming for me to be so outspoken, and he gave me feedback that it made hanging out with me a little unpleasant. But, I told him that HE, himself, is very vocal with his opinions and he said that it was different for us. Mmm.
And a friend linked me to this piece of news. I think he's very beautiful, but my cousin flatly told me that it may have been a biological mistake that Andrej was born a male. I asked him what was wrong with a male looking the way this model looks like. He refused to engage, saying that he knows what I was working up to. Mmm.
In any case, he does not deter me from saying what I want to say, but I do feel the unspoken pressure to measure to a certain category of values, and I think my cousin feels a different pressure to a different set of measurements. There are days that I feel really drained.
