Last night I went to the Harry Potter midnight premiere with Klarisa and it was pretty fun. Definitely went by much faster than I imagine. We went and grabbed Starbucks before going to stand in line and ran into Catherine and Amber there. Geesuz christ, it was horrible. We completely ignored them, and Catherine completely ignored us, but good ole' fake-as-shit Amber came up to us and was like "Hey Guys!, blah blah blah blah." Klarisa looked pissed, but I made a small attempt at trying to be 'friendly' but it was just awkward. Eventually she left to order her coffee. Oh and yes, Catherine looked like a total hooker. I wish I'd taken a photo with my phone.
We waited in line from about 9:35 to 10:02 p.m at which point they escorted us to our theater and we sat and talked there for two hours. The time just flew, before I knew it the previews were beginning! As for the movie itself -- it was awesome! It's long, but it really didn't feel that way. I also felt like a lot of it was just really rushed but I liked it overall. Emma Watson is fucking beautiful. After the movie, we went to Denny's and grabbed some very very early breakfast (3:00 a.m early). By that point I was pretty sleepy and my stomach was NOT happy with me for eating breakfast at that time of the morning. It kept making strange noises.
My time in Texas has been going pretty fast. I can't believe I only have a few days left here. Before I leave, though, I'm thinking of buying my mother this sewing machine that she really wants. They have it at Walmart for $198 +tax and I know it's kind of a lot, but she paid $100 of my dentist bill so it'd be like if I was paying her back $100 and then actually buying her something of $100. I wouldn't mind doing this at all because there are very few things that my mom actually ever wants, and even fewer (I'm sure) that she'll point out to me specifically. We were at Wal-Mart the other day and walking past the crafts section and she wanted to check if they had it in stock and when she saw it she was all excited about it.
Oh yes, I also went to the dentist yesterday to get my root canal finished. It didn't hurt at all although was uncomfortable at times. However, it hurts to chew down on my tooth now, but according to the internets it's normal for it to be that way for 3 days or so and some peopleeven said it was 1-2 weeks for them so we'll see. I sure as hell hope it's not that long.
Anyhow, it's about noon, and I should probably try to do something but honestly I do not have the energy at the moment. I think I'm going to play WoW for a bit (check mail, etc) and then go back to sleep. I don't know why I woke up so early when I rally didn't get to bed until around 5:00 a.m!
Oh yes, in Wow news, we're having guild drama. Our guild master and his wife ( guild leader) quit the guild and gave guild master over to Leroy (who was also a Guild leader) because they are tired of him thinking it's HIS guild. I don't know though, I think they'll probably work it all out. But maybe not. If they don't, the old GM and his wife will probably make a new guild. And, even if they don't, Scott and I are NOT staying in our current guild if only Leroy runs it. He's an ass.
