So that's what you've been up to, writing one wonderful look into the future for our two happy guys. I've been checking your flickr page for ages now and haven't seen anything of yours lately. This wonderful story of yours would explain that. I thought maybe you had switched to another page! I was in Farmingdale, Vt. last week and went looking for farms that might be J/E's. There were quite a few! Has anyone told you of the hamlet? It's so tiny it doesn't even have a sign post with the name on it. The only sign I could find was "Farmingdale Gardens," a nursery, I think. The view of the Green Mts in the distance is awesome, with a touch of snow on the many peaks, and the tiny little streams that tumble over granite rocks are sweet. The roads are all narrow and go over one-lane bridges. There are restored farm houses with outbuildings everywhere. I took a bunch of photos, if you're interested. Thanks for that great fanfic, really inspired and totally unlike anything else. -Louise

Uh, ... you wrote so pretty I think you need to seriously consider to contribute some writing of your own to our burgeoning community here :)

...I'm beginning to feel like running with this, myself! We'll see what happens. It would involve getting LiveJournal, for one thing...

Some of the comments have got me wondering whether or not everybody realizes this: I am *NOT* the author!! All I did was point to it.

Oh thank God, the REAL author showed up! (*hugs letbe*)

To get your stories into the humaninterest community, you first have to "friend" humaninterest (go to the group information display and click on the "add me to group" icon).

And then go to http://livejournal.com/submit.bml to enter and submit a new posting. Make sure that the community you post to is selected from the pull-down menu below the text box: humaninterest. Click submit and you're done.

I'm terrible about explaining how to do things on LJ, and I'm far from an expert. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.

I mean, http://livejournal.com/update.bml to submit a post. Note you can submit to more than one community for a particular post; just hit the backspace key to get back to the update.bml page, and change the community you are submitting it to.

Makes sense to me. I think the difference is that you need to "join" the community, rather than "watch" or "friend" it. Some communities limit posting access, and in that case, all you can to is watch. If you join, you'll get posting access and then see the "humaninterest" option in the drop down menu.

If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct. :)
