Some of 'em got me wondering too, and I AM the author. I haven't a clue, tho, what a Flickr(? sp) page is, and don't think I'm who you're referring to either. Unless, of course, my evil twin has assumed my identity again...

I am grateful to you, ryanschultz, tho, for linking me to here and for all the kind words. If you - or some other generous soul - wants to use their superpowers (computer division) in the service of truth, justice, and helping me get Chapter Two up and running AND figure out how to get stuff from "My LJ" out into the ether, here and back over there, well, I'll get you a toaster or some of satin sheets they sent J&E in duplicates and which they can't return and don't want to giftchain.

Grateful, too, for all the suggestions. I'll use some, but expect to spend more time on backstory right now as Lori is still amazing us with TCJ (what I wouldn't give for her ear for dialogue, and her uncanny ability to advance the plot in a non-linear way...) and I want this to build on what she's giving us. Let's see where TCJ flies before sailing too far in the wrong direction.

To get your stories into the humaninterest community, you first have to "friend" humaninterest (go to the group information display and click on the "add me to group" icon).

And then go to http://livejournal.com/submit.bml to enter and submit a new posting. Make sure that the community you post to is selected from the pull-down menu below the text box: humaninterest. Click submit and you're done.

I'm terrible about explaining how to do things on LJ, and I'm far from an expert. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.

I mean, http://livejournal.com/update.bml to submit a post. Note you can submit to more than one community for a particular post; just hit the backspace key to get back to the update.bml page, and change the community you are submitting it to.

Also, I'm not sure about this, but I think that not only do you have to friend the community, the community needs to friend you back.

Can ANYBODY who knows LJ better than I do explain how this works? I'm just the PhotoShop guy.
