Topic: What keeps you up at night?
It used to be worrying over wormholes, when Scorpius might catch up to us, if my friends were going to die and way back in the beginning it used to be the question of - would I ever get home?
Nowadays, it’s a baby crying.
D’Argo doesn’t sleep too well at night but my grandmother used to tell me that all babies across the entire world cried at night, guess that doesn’t change even if we’re in another universe altogether.
Usually when he cries at night, it’s my turn to look after him. Aeryn ever since becoming a mother has really enjoyed sleeping. She says it’s my turn because I didn’t have to give birth to him and I’ll give her that, it wasn’t the easiest of births what with the gunfire and all.
Not that I mind because some of the best times I’ve had is with D’Argo in my arms, telling him all about the stars and the adventures that are waiting for him.
