One year on. It seems I forgot to mention a pretty huge reason when justifying my subject choice.

It is quite possibly a matter of life and death. Literally.

A few days ago, AJ told me I needed to give the world some LJ posting. I tried to write but it was impossible!! I don't seem to be able to think on request! But this morning, the thoughts started flying after some Greek practice had led me to read a bit of Matthew.

I can't remember when it was that I first 'labelled' myself as agnostic. I guess I was brought up in an agnostic environment because neither theism nor atheism were pushed onto me by my family. With just over a week to go to the 20th, I feel now would be a good time to answer the question that is thrown at me everytime I mention my plans for the next three years: "why Theology?"

It is immediately presumed by many that I must either want to join the clergy or be a teacher.
