PALAU
Hello All! I am in PALAU!!! It is in Micronesia close to Guam. It's Friday here and we got in this past Sunday night. I came with my dad, sister and 2 guys that work with my dad at the hospital. The army sent him here to do work in their hospitals. His hospital sends docs over a couple of times a year and this is my dads second time here. It was been an amazing week! My sis and I have actually been able to help out in the operating room! like scrubbing in, holding tools and I even got to poke my finger into a little boys tummy to feel a hole my dad was closing! It has been sooo neat and the weather has been exciting too! When we arrived, the islands were being hit with a typhoon!!! its a tropical storm and the rain was crazy! winds were up to 125mph and It was exciting! Now it's friday and luckily the storm has passed and we have some sunshine. this afternoon we are going for a "refresher dive" and the saturday and sunday my sis,dad and I are off to scuba the #1 dive spots in the world like blue corner which in a reef cliff overlooking the marianas trench (deepest part in the ocean) kinda freaky, there will be tons of sharks and everything else but I am soooo excited. we are also going to swim with jellyfish in a jellyfish lake. because it's fresh water they dont sting. dont worry I'll get pictures to prove it!
well, I know it's been a while since I updated this thing, and I thought this would be a pretty exciting time to do it. Lisa I hope your job is going great!
