Odd week at the cafe, this was.
Quite busy for most of the week, except Saturday. It's usually the other way around. How strange.
Even so, not a lot of money actually coming on. Given that we need to take £250 a day just to pay wages and we are barely pushing £100 a day... yeah... I'm fucked. :(

HOWEVER!
Today was DOCTOR WHO day!! :D

I really enjoyed this one! So much awesome! Eleven felt just right today - he seemed a bit off to me in the Silurian story. But this was a Richard Curtis script, so great things were expected.
Ignoring the EPIC CHEESE OF EPIC at the end, it was great!
Loved the bow-tie stuff at the beginning. \:D8 I do really like how defensive he is of his bow tie. I kind of imagine Six being the same about his cat badges. :) "I'll have you know these badges are spectacular!"
Vincent seemed like a really well defined character and I got the feeling Curtis knows his stuff about him. Also, Tony Curran, who played him, came across as being almost in love with the character. I'll have to watch the confidential (hoping that 80% of it isn't taken up with the usual "THIS IS HOW WE MADE THE DESK FALL OVER" stuff or "EXPLOSION OF THE WEEK!" because there were no explosions this week YAY!)
I liked the idea of the monster - ~~INVISIBLE ENEMY~~. Though there is something that slightly bugs me about the Moffat era compared to the RTD2 era. Someone pointed it out to be that RTD refrained from using 'evil' or having enemies that were just bad for the sake of being bad. In Series 1/5/fnarg, we've already had quite a few 'OMG!EVIL' things. And this monster just seemed to be 'brutal and merciless' for most of it. Didn't really take the cop-out ending of 'oh, he's not so evil, just a bit blind. Let's be sad. woe'.
Other than that, everything seemed to flow really well in this episode. Eleven continues to be epic and Amy gets to be a giddy fangirl for no apparent reason. XD

Next week's episode looks... interesting. The Doctor has to try and be 'normal', which apparently includes playing football. Not sure how to feel about this. Then again, he's played cricket and I thought it was epic. But then again, cricket feels like more of a doctor-y sport - old, over-complicated and comical. XD
We shall see. I'd like to see the Doctor being domestic, actually. Going to the shops and buying fish custard some soup.

THREE WEEKS TO GO UNTIL THE FINALE!! OMG OMG OMG!! :DD
