My beautiful ladies/partners in crime
burakkupansa and
sairensu have taken up the challenge of posting a month a music and I, knowing a good bandwagon to jump on when I see it, will be joining them XD
Everyday I shall post a song with an explanation of why I picked it and I'll bung up a video so if people want to listen to it, they don't need to trawl youtube for it. Happy listening!

Day One: My favourite
Like my fellow audiophiles before me, I really struggled to pick a favourite song - my relationship with music is so fluid, one day I'll love a song the next I'll be sick of it - so I looked at my various playlists to see what songs appeared more than once (answer: a few) and my most played tracks on itunes (again, not that helpful.) Many of the songs I really like will undoubtedly show up later in the month so in the end I came round to this little number:
Don't Stop Believing (Regionals Version) - Glee Cast
Now I know there's as many Glee haters out there as there are people who love it, if not more, but I've always liked the song since I heard it on an episode of Scrubs ages ago but it was Glee that made me love it. Lyrically, it pushes my buttons because, despite the cynic in me, I am an optimist and truly believe in love. As a piece of a music, I love the piano and the guitar solos and the the performance by the Glee cast amazed me - so many different voices coming together to create an epic performance.
Enough of me talking about it, have a listen :)
