[Prologue Two]

I felt myself stop breathing.
I could hear loud beats of my heart, pushing oxygen to my stunned brain.

"Jaejoong hyung!"

The black figure in front of me, though he was hooded, I could still make out his cherry lips and porcelain skin.

He was soaked from head to toe, gleaming rather brightly under the pale moonlight.

"Changminie...." he whispered weakly before falling straight into the former's arms.

I was stunned for a moment. I stood there dumbly, with my mouth still hanging open.

I was finally slapped out of my trance when I felt the rain droplets seep through the sweater I was weraing.

" Ohmygawd, Jae hyung! Umma! Appa! Come help!!!" I yelled loudly, while kicking the door close with my bare foot.

Urghh, Jae sure is heavy. It took my dad and I to carry him up the stairs to get to the guestroom, to change his clothes.

I saw his eyebrows twitch and his mouth fell slightly to mumble something incoherent.

He must be having a bad dream. Poor Hyung...

======================================================================================================

I won't agree to this! I won't let you have your way with me!

".  .  ."

"Why must you do this to me?! Haven't you done enough?! First, you did '...' and now you want to '...' ?!

I can feel warm tears rolling down my cheeks endlessly.

Pain in my heart.

A mental stab in my guts.

A blur in my eyes.

I am weary. Exhausted. I don't want to do this any longer.

I have to leave this crazy place.

Cousin Changmin's house flashed repeatedly in my mind like a neon light.

I felt darkness's blanket pull over my eyes.

I opened my eyes to find myself in front of a familiar door.

I was too tired to remember. Too weary to think.

I reached tentatively for the golden doorbell hanging on the door before giving it a sharp pull.

=========================================================================================

I watched as Jae was being jerked out of his slumber by an unknown force.

His eyes were wide open, pupils darting around, trying to register his surroundings.

He turned to his right abruptly.

He noticed Dad and was blinking repeatedly at him.

Dad was smiling rather broadly at him.

Jae turned away from him and shook his head.

" I am dreaming. I am dreaming. I am dreaming." he chanted repeatedly as he kept shaking his head.

He stopped at last. Then turned to stare at both of us, wide-eyed.

I couldn't keep my hands to myself anymore and dived towards Jae, nearly knocking him off the bed when I hugged him tightly.

"Hyung! I am so glad you're alright! How did you get here? How have you been? Have you been..." I rambled, not even knowing what I was rambling about with Jae still looking a little lost and dazed.

Finally, the raven-haired boy opened his mouth to say something, but it got stuck in his throat.

"Changmin ah. I can't-t b-breathe-e." he choked out weakly.

" I am sorry!" I released my arms a tad too quickly and Jae's head hit the wall with a loud clunk.

Uh-oh...

"DAMMIT!!!! OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jae yelled.

Okay... Well, at least he's back to his loud self.

Jae dramatically placed his hands on the more-than-sore bump and leaned forward, his long fringe covering his face.

"Ijasshik.. It hurts... Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow." he muttered loud enough for Changmin to hear.

"I am terribly sorry, Hyung. I will go get some ice." To this, I didn't realise my dad had came out with some ice.

Oh and Mom was here too.

Jae seemed to realise someone was standing at the door and looked up.

"Jae dear, how did you get here?" Mom asked quietly.

Jae seemed to ponder for a while before replying with a simple "I dont know".

"All I know is," he continued. " I'm trying to run away." He bit his lip and hugged his arms.

" From my father. He's mental. He never treated me like the son he had. To him, I am just a damned guinea pig."

"No wonder. Now wonder Mom left!" His voice shook and he started to tremble.

" She left for a better place. She was a loving mother to me. Maybe she couldnt take it anymore."

"It was too hard. Too hard to cope. So maybe it's better for her in heaven."

Finally, one salty tear fell onto his bitten lip, stinging the open wound.

I didnt know Jae would have a vulnerable side to him.

Suddenly, Dad spoke up.

" Stay here with us. I wont ask what's Half-brother's trying to do. I've had enough of him and his crazy ways. We will give you what Half-brother didnt give you. Anyway, it's time for you to break free of his grasp." Dad said.

Jae looked up gratefully.

"Okay."

A/N: Finally done. Sorry if it was kinda boring and if the ending was crappy. I was kinda tired. =/
Comments are love love. ^^ Chapter One would be tomorrow. I hope this prologue's long enough.
