Summary: Found on the doorstep of the Shims in the rain, Jae had ran away from his mad scientist of a father to his relatives. Changmin then suggests an outrageous idea which turns Jae's life upside down.

[Prologue 1]
A flash and a loud boom of thunder followed.
Before you knew it, it had begun to pour.
Big, fat droplets hit the slanted attic window repeatedly, creating a noisy rhythm of music.
A long-legged teenager was hunched over his notes and textbooks, trying to ignore the noisy splashes of the sudden heavy rain.
He finally threw up his hands in frustration.
"Crap, how the heck am I going to finish this?!" he semi-yelled before slumping onto the table in miserable exhaustion.
His forehead resting on his forearms, he wished the rain would go away as quickly as it came.
He needed more peace.
He breathed out and was about to count silently to three then he would get up and try to complete his work before sleeping.
Three...
Two...
One...
Zero...
A faint ringing drifted into his ears.
"Changmin yah! Open the door!" his mother yelled up the staircase before returning to her sanctuary, the kitchen.
"Urgh..."
With a disatisfied grunt, he forced himself to get up and plodded down the steps.
His hand closed over the doorknob before giving it a slight twist and tugging it open.
"Yes?" He growled rudely before he registered what was in front of him.
His eyes widened and his mouth literally dropped open.
"Jaejoong hyung!"
