Change your style

My art style changes a lot. I mean A LOT. My Comic will look different sometimes page to page. Usually the changes are pretty minor and gradually over time produce very dramatic changes. It's what I do. I SUCKED horribly at the start of drawing EE. I couldn't draw as far as I am concerned (I mean look at the very first EE page). EE was never made

The thing about most webcomics is that people seem to confuse them for graphic novels-- which they aren't (usually). Webcomics are always constantly reinventing themselves. This is especially true about yours. Honestly, I like seeing that. It's why the webcomic as a medium is so interesting to me, because you're actually watching an artist grow as an illustrator and storyteller. Having issues with a current style seems kind of silly, it's all just part of the game.

Honestly, there's tons of webcomics I can't read because the artist just can't tell a story. Sure, usually the creator has some talent, but they just can't do sequential art worth a damn. And on that note, I'm sick of the poorly written stuff I see out there. But I'm a literature geek, what do I know.

But, to be fair, I think you're overacting a bit. I don't see the comment this person made as negative criticism as much as ignorance, because it implies two things:
1. This person thinks you're awesome and can just change your style at will.
2. They don't really have a good understanding of the art process if they have to ask a question like that.

Actually, I think it implies they've read through the whole comic too. Which is also awesome!

Yeah I know I was making a bigger deal than need be, but I feel I have that right with my journal it's where I vent things and I usually feel better afterward. As I mentioned, I am just extremely self conscious over the comic, I personally think it all sucks anyway so I can often react badly to negative comments.

And here I thought you were angry at me you hadn't been responding to any of my other messages.
